When Mike and Jim from Art Practice asked me to come and get involved with some kinetic type for their latest Ineos Grenadier spot, I jumped at the chance.
A punchy type sequence was crafted over for timings. Each word was then re-shot with a still camera. Tiny vibrations on the tripod and varying slow exposures created stop frame sequences that had an authentic rostrum feeling to them. These ‘live’ still sequences where then cut back and replaced onto the digitial sequence with slipping the craziness down to an absolute minimum so the energy matched the script in just the right places.
It’s a pleasure be afforded the time to labor these sequences.
